Paperwork

Once an animal is chosen there are several forms that need to be completed.

• Statement of Adoption (To be completed at the Humane Society) [preview]
• Adoption Form
• Spay/Neuter Voucher*
• Rabies Voucher
• Microchip Registration

*All animals adopted from an Animal Shelter must be spayed or neutered. Vouchers will be given to the Adopter to take to a veterinarian. There are fourteen veterinarians that the Humane Society works with in New Braunfels and surrounding areas.

Animal Preparation

While paper work is being completed by staff and new Adopting parents the animal will be receiving the following:

• Booster shot
• De-wormer (round worms and hook worms)
• Microchip
• Collar
• Tags
